I worked in a life-like but impressionist sculpting style & integrated his lower half into the base of the sculpture to give him weight & substance. This also further adds to the impression of his height as he stands up above the foliage to get a better view. This original art, standing grizzly bear sculpture is hand cast bronze using the lost wax method. The edition size for the sculpture is 15. Size is 8 inches high. Each of my hand cast bronze sculptures are done using the centuries-old lost wax method which captures all the details of the sculpture perfectly - even my finger prints!
