As such a unique item, it is bound to draw the delight & fascination of family & friends. The one-of-a-kind sculpted wooden box pictured above, was handmade with love in New Jersey, USA. It was created from ash & oak I was given from a wonderful woman who worked for the Louisville Slugger Factory in Louisville, KY. This box's exterior surfaces were sanded extremely smooth & coated with several coats of Tung Oil. The oil gives the box a matte finish & showcases the natural beauty of the wood. The interior of the box & drawer are lined with black Suede-Tex velvet fiber to add to this box's sophistication & to help protect personal items stored within. The drawer pulls are made of ebony-stained poplar. The box is open on both sides so the drawer can slide out of either end. It is mainly a decorative box but the drawer can hold one or two small jewelry items such as earrings and/or rings.
