Fresh, green, & warm, Fougere is our take on the classic perfume category. With notes of lush greens, clean musk, violets, & lavender, Fougere is the smell of the first slightly humid day in spring. It's the smell of wading through dew-covered ferns in a shaded forest. The candle to light after you've finished your spring cleaning. Cordialis candles are hand-poured in Denver, CO. They are crafted in small batches using (American-grown!) 100% soy wax, a combination of phthalate-free fragrance oils & essential oils, & lead-free wicks. Our travel tins are just over 4 ounces (by weight!) & burn for approximately 25 hours. Each one is a compact 2.5 tall & 2 in diametera sturdy & reusable black tin with a lid perfect for throwing in your suitcase so you can take your favorite scent & the warmth of candlelight wherever you go! We type our labels by hand on a beloved 1960 turquoise Olympia typewriterso each one is slightly different & slightly imperfect. How to burn, baby: -Try to burn your candle for an hour minimum, or long enough to melt the entire top of the candle. This ensures the best scent throw while burning, as well as the best performance of the candle over time. -Between burning, trim your wick down to 1/4 to avoid mushrooming & smoke. -Always burn within sight, & keep your candle away from anything that could catch fire. Burn it out of reach of children or pets. -For long-term storage, keep your candle covered to preserve the scent. -Stop burning when 1/2 wax remains in the container. To reuse your metal tin, wait until it has cooled, then put in it the freezer. Once the remaining wax has frozen, it should be much easier to remove. Fougere/4 Oz.
