I fell in love with this table as soon as I saw it. I love the shape & all of the grooves in the legs with crescent moons as well! Had to have it! I sanded it down & used green unicorn spit as a base coat. I love the depth that unicorn spit gives & often layer it with chalk paint or I will even mix it together to deepen my colors. I had the rose haired girl stencil so thought I'd give that a try on the top. I haven't had much experience with stencils before, but I found using it as an initial outlay & then doing my own thing after that gives it a look that I like. I went with the bohemian look on the rest of the table using a mixture of chalk paint, metallics & unicorn spit then applied a satin finish. On the top of the table I decided on the gold trimmed keyhole around the lady to keep that nice green glow around her & blended various shades of gold & copper metallic on the rest. I decided to top the table with a 2 part resin which sealed the painting & has an extra hard finish. You can wash the top, set various things on it as well without disturbing the paint underneath!
