I do recommend in the future that a piece of glass or plexiglass be purchased cut to fit the top of the tables (local Lowes or similar home store) for added protection. Also, the small round felt tabs can be added under the glass to create a space between the glass & image. This table is furniture art & not meant for heavy use so please add glass or plexiglass in the future if you think they will get a lot of use. (Most will cut it for you for free, to your specifications as long as you are purchasing it there at their store) The package will be insured.
