AlvitrA is a family studio in Kaplice, near the Austrian border. We create handmade lighting in small batches, with each lamp carefully assembled by hand. Our Czech hand-blown overlaid glass is layered, not painted, with three fused layers: clear crystal, a layer of colored glass, & another layer of crystal, giving natural depth & rich color. Many pieces are custom or made to order, reflecting our focus on traditional craft, careful workmanship, & small-scale production.
