Catchalls are shaped via wet forming, which results in a somewhat firm, stiff feel (avoiding the need for rivets to hold the shape). However, they are slightly pliable if you attempt to manipulate it with your hands (see video clip). As catchalls are formed by hand, there may be slight variations in the final shape.
