Everything is tied together with a heavy powder coated steel frame to make sure our pen holders have enough weight to stay in place. Our pen holders are made from Oak wood grown in Canada while the cork we use is sourced from Portugal, & sustainably harvested. The steel frame is also made & powder coated in Canada. Our pen holders are available in two shades of oil based stains, Natural & Walnut (Dark Brown), to fit better with more desk setups. Durable Design???? We help our pen holders last by using oil based stains that absorb deep into the oak wood so the wood doesn't lose its colour over years of use. To make our metal frames last we use powder coating since it's much more durable than paint & can handle daily abuse. Finally to protect your desk top our pen holders have a custom laser cut cork base that prevents any scratches & keeps our holders in place.
