This is a solid brass fixture modeled after the classic Victorian designs of the early 20th century. Brass components have been hand-aged in our shop to achieve an authentic patinathe finish is real, not painted, & will grow continually richer over time. The flame finial atop the arm recalls its roots in early gas lighting fixtures, many of which were later converted to electric. We've used the very best parts for this beautiful piece. All parts including wiring & lamp socket are new reproduction making for safe & reliable operation.
