The Wooden Rabbit Figurine Handcarved in Wood

This beautiful rabbit is hand carved in pine wood & then painted by hand with natural pigments found in nature. The carving of little wooden animals is a family tradition that has been kept alive for a few hundred years now. My grandmother & her grandmother before used to carve these while the husband was out with the cattle & then they sold them to get a little extra cash, to support their families, since the farmers life was not the easiest.
