My roses are handmade using sheet copper, a thick copper wire for the stem & thinner wire to hold the leaves on. After hours of cutting & molding (one at a time) the petals of the rose bud are soldered together securely & then get soldered securely onto the stem. Leaves are meticulously created, along with thorns!, & then these are also attached to the stem. I did special work once it was completed to create the green patina (and some red/etc on the leaves) & then I carefully wiped some away so that it's super green in some spots, but also some spots have the look of normal copper. Then I finally sealed it with clear coat so that these colors will stay for years to come. Inspiration for the style came from fully bloomed, dried (dead) roses. Designed to lay flat on a surface. The leaves are movable. Measurements: Length from the start of the rose bud to the end of the stem is 24 inches. Width of rose bud is about 1.5 inches, little more. Largest front leaf measures 2 inches long x 1 inch across. Weight: 5.8 ounces. Let me know if you want anything customized!
