MEANING OF LOLA: The heart design is named after my first granddaughter LOLA which means Lots Of Love Always. DETAILS: Each live edge wood is uniquely hand-crafted & custom designed from weathered-down trees found around metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona. By acquiring these logs, it allows me to create 100% sustainable, re-purposed live edge wood art designs. Locally source & made in North Peoria, Arizona. Both sides of the slab goes to a router sled table to obtain desired flat surface & thickness. As the wood slab ages, noticeable cracks on the wood may appear due to its natural dry cracking process & changes in humidity & temperature. Any voids or cracks from the wood are sealed with epoxy to maintain integrity of the wood. FRACTAL ART: A process of applying 20,000 volts of electricity to the wood surface recreating a lightning strike in slow motion as well as unique abstract figures, tree & vein like shapes. EPOxY INLAY: Any voids or cracks from the wood are sealed with epoxy to maintain the integrity of the wood. Epoxy inlay with clear or color pigment is also use to seal the burns created during fractal art process on the surface of the wood. Note Since the fractal art uniquely done to each wood, the picture shown above is not the exact fractal design you'll receive. EPOxY COLOR: You have the option to choose what color pigment for the fractal art design. Use warm cloth & wipe wood surface. To revitalize the wood, occasionally apply John Boos Mystery oil & wipe off excess.
