Yes, after adding the final touches, a combination of natural mineral oil & waxes are applied to the rose help preserve & bring out the rich natural colors found in the wood. Can you Personalize & add an inscription to the rose? Yes, using a state-of-the-art Epilog Laser engraver we can add a personalized engraved date or inscription to the stem for no extra cost. Please include the details of what you want engraved with your order. What size are the roses? Each Detailed Rose is approximately 11 long by about 3 in diameter at the widest part of the rose bud. Our simple roses are also 11 long by about 2 in diameter. Are the roses Eco-Friendly? Yes, the wood we use to make the roses is all-natural & eco-friendly. We sustainably collect all of our wood from the Mountains of Northern New Mexico ourselves. By utilizing the wonderful, natural New Mexico Sunshine, we run our shop with solar energy to cut, & cure the wood & hand carve each of the roses, making them even more eco-friendly. When will I receive my order? We make each rose after they are ordered & you have the option to choose to have it shipped out either in 3-5 days, 5-7 days, 1-2 weeks or 2-3 weeks. We then ship our Roses by USPS Priority Shipping (1-3 days).
