Pebbly business (or non-business!) card holder hand carved from reclaimed oak. This card holder is shaped from a chunk of solid air-dried oak, & as with most smaller wooden Cordycept products, makes use of workshop off-cuts from larger projects to minimise waste & increase sustainability. Once shaped, the carved piece is scorched with a flame to raise the grain, & finished with food safe plant based oils. The scorching process brings out the texture of the wood, & really highlights the medullary rays of the oak - the photos don't quite do justice to just how tactile this surface is - it feels amazing in the hand!
