This coffee table is made with reclaimed timber, purchased from the local wood up-cycling business. The hairpin legs are made of steel & they come in different colours & heights. The extendable arms are also made from a local supplier & they are made of steel. The standard height for this table is 45cm when not extended & around 60cm when the top is lifted. Every coffee table is made to order so the dimensions can be fully customisable. If the listing dimensions aren't suitable for what you are after, please feel free to contact us directly with your desired dimensions & we will make it to measure for you. The current example in the photos is finished in our English Oak finish which is water-based as well as eco-friendly. Our finishing products also seal the wood to make it heatproof, waterproof & easy to wipe clean. There are more colour variations such as the ones that can be seen in the samples photo. The unit can also be painted or stained to your preferred colour if none of the above choices are suitable. Wood is a living, breathing material. It responds to its environment and, like all living things, it ages. Natural wood has characteristics that include knots, variations in grain, & differences in colour. Drying the wood properly reduces splitting & warping but because wood is living, its moisture content will fluctuate based on the humidity of its surroundings & will cause some natural movement. Our coffee tables are thoughtfully designed, manufactured, & finished with care, to allow for this natural movement of the wood. Any imperfections in solid wood reveal its age & history & the reclaimed planks that we use for our pieces may be faintly uneven & may cup or bow very marginally over time. These variations in the wood are to be expected & celebrated & we promise that they will not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the piece. in truth, these little imperfections enhance the unique character of the furniture which means that you can be certain that no other coffee table will be exactly like yours. Important Details The legs for this table will arrive in a separate box to eliminate the risk of damage during transit. A simple assembly will be required to install the hairpin legs. Screws will be provided! You will need a short screwdriver :) We offer free delivery to all UK addresses. For orders outside of the UK, all import costs, including customs, duties & tariffs, as well as delivery costs, will be included in the price at checkout.
