This unique wine barrel coffee table is made from a used oak barrique barrel in which wine was stored for around three to five years in France. Oak is a high-quality & robust material, which also makes the table a high-quality & durable product. The traces of wine storage can also be found on the coffee table in the form of red wine stains, small scratches & dents, because they make each piece of furniture so special. The light scent of red wine is also reminiscent of the original purpose, but disappears after a few days. in addition, our coffee table is a real space miracle thanks to the many shelves & the removable oak lid. in our workshop, the used wine barrel is handcrafted into a coffee table. The metal barrel rings pose no risk of splinters as they are sanded down & deburred before further processing. The same applies to the wood of the barrels. Although the individual barrel staves are carefully clamped together to maintain the shape of the barrel, gaps can form between the individual staves. Wood is a natural material that continues to change even after processing because it works & dries out. For further stability, we screw the rings to the wood. We get the special whisky barrel look by varnishing & then sanding. This step brings us closer visually to whisky barrels & allows us to offer a stylish variant. Barrels in which whisky matures are significantly rougher & darker, which means they are not so suitable for our purposes.
