Depending on the legs you select the average height of each leg is between 5 inches & 6 inches which would increase the overall height of the storage box to between 14.5 & 15.5 inches once the legs are applied. The legs require no tools to attach, the holes for each leg are located underneath & in each corner of the box right under the black dust sheet. You simply pierce though each hole screwing each leg into place.
