Hand-carved wolf from plum-wood. This incredible beautiful wood in brown & rose to violet tones is very hard. This makes it possible to smooth & polish it until it is shining like a precious stone. It is varnished with natural oil & polished with bees wax. The figures are made to order. I will carve them for you & the grain of wood will differ from the one you see on the photos, however it will be similar & from the same type of wood. Animals in this category are not at first place for children. Of course children would also like to play with them, but I make carved animals at a lower price for children from alder wood.
