Our bird feeder is designed so that rain can't get into the seed holding area & there are drainage holes in the bottom if it did, this is to prevent the seed from getting wet. We also offer a 2m tall version, supplied with a detachable pole for easy setup & positioning. If you would like the 2m tall bird feeder, please select either Large 2m or Medium 2m when ordering. Material: mild steel, this will rust on purpose. No maintenance is required as each sculpture is created to high standards & can be left outside & admired all year round. All our products are sent non rusted but will rust with time when left outside. To speed up the rusting process we recommend spraying your product with salt water & they will rust within days.
