Rocking Chair Made Of Wine Barrel Staves

Our rocking chair made of wine barrel staves is constructed with a lot of creativity & craftsmanship. The idea behind it is an interesting chair consisting only of wine barrel staves. The red-coloured insides of the stave pieces still indicate the original use of the oak barrels used for wine storage. What could be nicer than sitting by the fireplace in the evening & rocking back & forth in our rocking chair with a glass of red wine. Fittingly, this piece of furniture is made from the components of a used wine barrel, which is shown by the intensively red-colored wooden elements. Individual barrel staves together result in a comfortable seat, so that everyone can find space there. Each barrel has its own character due to its grain, quirks, red wine stains, etc. Since many individual barrel staves are used for the rocking chair, a wine barrel is slaughtered for the first step. in this step, all rings are removed from the barrel, the lids are separated from the staves & the latter are rounded off at the edges. This gives the oak wood elements a pleasant surface without impurities & splinters. Subsequently, the individual staves are lovingly handcrafted to form a comfortable rocking chair. The rocking chair is suitable for people up to 100 kg. in addition, we cannot guarantee that the product will withstand the load permanently. Wood is a natural raw material that continues to work as a manufactured product. If the rocking chair is used outdoors, the natural oak wood of the used barrels can gray & become brittle. Depending on the humidity, the wood shrinks or swells, so that the screws in the rocking chair may have to be tightened. Each barrel has its own traces of use.
