This distressed white painted mason jar, pint size, serves as a decorative soap dispenser jar comes with a rust colored lid, dispenser pump, & decorative ribbon. The label reads Christmas Trees & was designed by MARYS MONTAGE & is reproduced here via a license agreement. The jar has been painted, distressed, & sealed with a protected sealant - the image is also sealed with glue so that entire jar & the distressed white finish are water resistant. Dish washing soaps tend to be chemically stronger & may affect the rusty lid finish eventually. Furthermore, dish washing tends to, by its very nature, cause splashing & standing water to run all over your jar - doing this repeatedly over long periods of time, may make your jar wet - which would require it to be set aside to dry out.
