A beautiful piece for any home, pictures can't due it justice! This blanket was inspired by my grandmother's love of quilting. I inherited many of her crafting books & fell in love with a lot of the patterns. I was inspired & thought it was a great way to incorporate them into my weaving! This distinctive yarn is a combination of multiple yarns hand-tied to each other. Local women are employed in Istanbul who are experiencing financial need. Some are single mothers or have husbands & are either unemployed or don't make enough income to support their families. Every single skein has been hand-tied by these ladies & every skein they tie-up helps their families immensely. I am proud to be able to help these workers by utilizing their talent & love of yarns. Every skein of yarn & every blanket purchased helps a family. Size is approximately 62 inches x 62 inches. International shipping does apply.
