This sculpture was created to assist one with meditation & contemplation. Most of my designs incorporate circles, holes, & spiral motifs. Each of which universally represent perpetuity, eternity & infinity - birth, life, rebirth - time without end. Using these designs allows me to pay homage to the ancients of the world who used these symbols & motifs in ceremony & to describe the unknown. in the spirit of our ancestors, this piece was created using ancient methods: a manual handsaw to surface the stone & very hard stone tools to make the holes - no electric/pneumatic tools used. Emotional Healing : Alabaster is the pure form of transparency, as it symbolizes purity. It is used to encourage feelings of peace & calmness.
