Every stool is made individually by our small team using a fully welded steel frame & upholstered in premium Italian top-grain leather. Unlike flat-pack furniture, every frame is fully welded rather than bolted together. The result is a stool that feels solid from the moment you sit on it & is designed for years of everyday use. Whether it's for a kitchen island, breakfast bar, home bar or commercial project, every Charlie Hyde is made to your specification. MADE TO ORDER Every Charlie Hyde is built specifically for you. Choose Your Height Every stool is made to your required seat height. We recommend allowing approximately 200 mm between the top of the seat & the underside of your worktop or breakfast bar for comfortable seating. Choose Your Steel Finish The photographs show our Raw Waxed Steel finish, but you can choose from 14 steel finishes, including durable powder-coated colours & specialist metal finishes. Choose Your Leather Choose from 20 Italian leather colours, all cut, stitched & upholstered by hand in our workshop using genuine top-grain leather over high-density foam. While this is not a certified load rating & has no practical relevance to everyday seating, it gives an indication of the strength built into every Charlie Hyde. Every stool is built one at a time. From cutting the steel & welding the frame to stitching the leather & final assembly, the work is carried out in our workshop before the stool is carefully packed & dispatched.
