The pattern itself is completely hand-drawn using the wax relief method (batik). The sewing work & embroidery on the pattern are made very delicately by hand. Materials: - The front of the pillowcase is made of organic handwoven hemp, dyed blue naturally using indigo plants extract - The back is made of dark blue linen. - Invisible zip Measures: 12x20 inches (30 x 50.8 cm) Notes: - Pillow insert not included. - Dry-cleaning or washing with cold water & mild washing detergent recommended. - All handmade products are subject to minor imperfections, which actually make the products more unique. - Due to different lighting, the colors of the product in the photo might be slightly different from those of the actual product. Additional information on the tribal techniques: - The pattern on the pillow case is drawn by hands using beeswax. - The cloth is then dyed several times using indigo extracts until it reaches the dark blue color. - I use hot water to dissolve the beeswax, showing the pattern in white, as seen on the photos.
