The cotton is sourced from BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), a collaboration with various organizations for the sustainable cultivation of cotton. TUNNELS: 2, both above & below for the wooden sticks. SIZE: 60x100 cm. Height may vary slightly due to handwork. STICKS: 2 lightweight, round birch sticks hold the tapestry upright & provide the weight. Metal eyelets are attached to the ends (top stick). The (hemp) rope is attached to these so that you can hang the tapestry immediately on 1 screw or nail. It weighs almost nothing. DESIGN: The abstract design was created using paper & scissors (paper cutouts), then digitally edited & printed. However, the basis is always handmade.
