We use a natural beeswax finish on all of our wooden products. The application of Briwax intensifies the grain pattern whilst protecting the wood with a water resistant finish. There is a wide range of 14 wax colours to chose from. We recommend applying a clear coat of wax once a year to keep your item looking brand new. Item comes flat packed unassembled due to the over all weight & size we do not pre drill the hole into the wood any questions please feel free to message. How to Assemble a Desk Tools you'll need: Screws (provided) Bolts (provided) Measuring tape Screwdriver (manual or electric) Ratchet/ Spanner for M8 bolts Set one Assembling the desk frame Fix the two crossbars to the legs using the bolts provided. This can be done with either two people or one person. If working with two people: One person should hold the legs upright & evenly spaced while the other fixes the crossbars into place using the bolts. If working alone: Lay one leg flat on a soft surface (such as a blanket) to prevent scratches. Attach one crossbar to each side of this leg. Then stand the assembly upright & attach the other leg to the opposite ends of the crossbars, creating the full frame. Step 2 - Assembling the Desk Top 1.Place the first board on top of the assembled frame. Ensure there is a 10 mm overhang at each end & along the front edge. Fix this board to the frame from underneath using the screws provided. 2.Place the second board directly next to the first, using it as a guide to align correctly. Again, ensure there is a 10 mm overhang at each end. Secure from underneath with screws. 3.Repeat the process with the third board, ensuring consistent alignment & overhang on both ends.
