Translucent Kozo paper backing (which is made from renewable branches of the Kozo bush) allows light to glow warmly through the cut-out symbol. This Lotus Flower Night Light is available in natural, untreated Poplar, or in Shou Sugi Ban (Yakisugi) technique, which is the Japanese torched style, that creates a darker finish & vivid grain. The Night Light has a small sensor that turns the light on & off automatically, the plug is a standard groundless US receptacle type, & this unit comes with an LED light & fixture. About the Symbol: The Lotus Flower is symbolic of purity of the body, speech, & mind. It also symbolizes spiritual enlightenment & rebirth.
