Electrostatic powder is applied to the barrel & baked in the oven. The inside is also colored. White barrels are painted at the factory & may have small scratches on the metal edge. Minor dents or scratches are part of the industrial charm. Ring-burnished surfaces are handmade. Each surface is unique & then coated with a clear powder. Copper is a textured, tactile surface & also powder coated. Custom color is available in any Classic RAL tone. Choose the custom color option & leave the RAL code & edge color in the order notes. Our barrels come from a factory in the Hamburg harbor that normally produces containers for oils & fats. They have never contained liquid & consist of surplus stock, new, or B-grade barrels.
