A handmade Winton coffee table ottoman footstool, made using your own supplied upholstery fabric. This listing is for making & upholstering the footstool in customers own outer fabric. The outer fabric is not included & will need to be supplied by you. How It Works: 1. Choose your preferred footstool size & leg option from the menus. 2. Message me with the fabric you would like to use before posting it, so I can check suitability & confirm the fabric quantity. 3. Once confirmed, you can send your fabric to my workshop. Your fabric can also be posted directly from the fabric supplier if preferred. 4. I will confirm once your fabric has arrived safely. 5. I will then make your Winton Footstool to order using your supplied fabric, finished with self piping & your chosen wooden legs. Fabric Required: The fabric required depends on the footstool size selected. As a guide, please allow: -xSmall & Small: 2.5 metres of fabric -Standard: 3 metres of fabric -Large: 3.5 metres of fabric -Square: 3 metres of fabric These amounts are based on standard upholstery width fabric & include allowance for self piping. Patterned fabrics, large pattern repeats, narrow width fabrics, directional prints or fabrics that need careful centred placement may require extra fabric. Please message me with your fabric details before ordering or posting so I can confirm the quantity needed. Important Fabric Requirements: Your fabric must be suitable for upholstery. Please check that your fabric has: 1. A Martindale rub count over 20,000 This helps make sure the fabric is durable enough for regular use as a footstool. 2. Either FR Treated or suitable for use with an interliner If your fabric is not already suitable for domestic upholstery use, it must be suitable for use with a fire retardant crib 5 interliner. 3. A suitable upholstery weight Very thin fabrics, stretchy fabrics, loose weave fabrics or delicate fabrics may not be suitable. Please message me before ordering if you are unsure. About The Winton Footstool The Winton is a non storage upholstered footstool, designed for use as a coffee table ottoman, sofa footstool, footrest, occasional seat or decorative living room piece. Each footstool is handmade to order in my Dorset workshop using a sturdy wooden frame, cushioned upholstered top, traditional self piping & your chosen wooden leg option. It works beautifully in front of a sofa or armchair, especially styled with a tray, books or decorative accessories. Key Details: -Your own fabric: You supply the outer upholstery fabric. -Non storage design: This is a fixed top footstool without internal storage. -Self piping included: Finished with self piping made from your supplied fabric for a neat, tailored edge. -Wooden leg options: Choose your preferred leg style & finish from the menu. -Handmade in the UK: Made to order in my Dorset workshop. Dimensions -Length & width are available in a range of size options. Please select your preferred size from the menu. Height: The upholstered body measures approximately 20 cm high. The final overall height will depend on the leg option selected. Please refer to the leg selection menu for available heights & finishes. Production Time: My standard production time is shown in the listing by estimated delivery dates (This is kept up to date with current lead times within my workshop). If your fabric is delayed & delays manufacture then the dispatch date may need to be adjusted. Please do not send fabric until suitability & quantity have been confirmed. Please Note: This listing does not include the outer fabric. The customer is responsible for supplying & posting the fabric. As this is a made to order item created using your supplied fabric, returns or cancellations cannot be accepted once work has begun. As each footstool is handmade, pattern placement may vary slightly depending on the fabric supplied. Colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings & lighting.
