Handmade Lamp in Natural Wood & Japanese Paper. The Geometries Of Mondrian

Dimensions: 8,2 inch x 7,4 inch Beech tree Table lamp, completely handmade by cutting & assembling various size of wooden strips. Lively wooden lamp built on the geometries & colors characteristic of the abstract art of the dutch painter Piet Mondrian. The grid of squares & rectangles was created by crossing thin linden strips together, in order to give the object a three-dimensional graphic. The used materials are of natural origin & the entire hand made manufacturing process was carried out in respect of the Environment. I used the natural wood for the construction of the frame, & the traditional Japanese Washi paper for the creation of the lampshade.
