Authentic handmade sculptural piece in mid century style made in the USA. The free form kidney shape & legs are all curves. This piece is over 10 years old & features a beautiful travertine katsugi repair to the thick inset glass. Katsugi is a technique typically applied to fine pottery where a skillful repair embraces the full history of something worth preserving. Symbolic of healing & finding beauty in the unpredictable nature of life. This piece is in excellent condition for its age & confirms the long term durability to be expected in high quality hand made furniture. The solid white oak frame has recently been re polished. Some minor hairline scratches in the glass & minor movement typical of solid wood. A very beautiful solid piece that is a true one of kind. I have the matching glass side table in my Etsy shop Custom work also available 17-3/4 tall x ~32 wide x ~64 long. Please contact me to confirm a delivery schedule. My eBay account (ballinfurniture) is 100% positive since 2006 with feedback for large item shipping & crating. Mid Century Style White Oak & Glass Kidney Shaped Coffee Table
