BOB with Door - Half Oil Barrel Coffee Table Bob with Door is the lockable version of our Bob coffee table made from a half oil barrel. It works perfectly next to the sofa, as a bedside table, or even as a mini bar (with the shortened shelf variant). The three casters on the barrel base are proven from our coffee table design & are included here as well. If you want to place the table firmly on a carpet, the casters can simply be removed. All of our tabletops fit into the barrel lid & are easily placed inside. The material comes from Hamburg harbor barrels. The interior walls are also colored, while the shelves remain metallic. White barrels are painted directly in the factory; light scratches on the metal seam or small dents are normal & part of the charm. The ring-bronzed surface is hand-applied, making each piece unique, & then additionally coated with a clear powder finish. Copper has a textured surface you can feel, also powder-coated. Any Classic RAL color is available on request - choose the Custom Color option & leave the RAL tone & edge color (white or black) in the order notes. We confirm all details before production. The barrels come from a factory in the Port of Hamburg that normally produces containers for oils & fats.
