Moroccan Brass Pendant Light - Hammered Half-Moon Kitchen Island Lamp

Handmade in Marrakech, this Moroccan brass pendant light pairs a sculptural half-moon bowl with a richly hand-hammered surface & an exposed bulb below. The curved metal shade reflects warm light across its textured interior while directing illumination downward, giving the piece a clean contemporary character. Suspended individually or grouped above a kitchen island, dining table or counter, its simple crescent profile highlights the subtle irregularity & reflective texture of artisan-worked brass. The brass is shaped into its curved crescent form & hammered by hand to create the softly irregular reflective surface. LIGHT & ATMOSPHERE This open pendant does not rely on pierced cutwork to produce patterned shadows. Instead, the hammered brass surface catches & reflects light while the open underside directs illumination downward around the exposed bulb. The final lighting effect depends on the bulb, brightness, hanging height, room & surrounding surfaces.
