Our furniture is meticulously handmade by us from reclaimed wood off-cuts / cabinet factory waste that is otherwise burned. TABLE DIMENSIONS: Approx. ~18 wide, ~18 deep, ~21 tall. Prices are going up everywhere for shipping, materials & hardware components - we're doing everything we can to avoid raising our prices for the time being. ~ This beautiful & incredibly detailed engraved hardwood table top is made from gorgeous, Grade-A solid Walnut colored Teak hardwood. This wood is beautiful & unique, full of natural & organic character. The tessellated mandala like artwork design is burnt into the surface of the wood. The tapered legs are solid hardwood & turned by hand for a classic mid-century, rustic-modern style. The legs screw into metal plates underneath the table top for convenience of easy removal for storing/moving. The tabletop is slightly thinner at 7/8 (22mm) instead of a standard 1 (25mm) for a streamlined look & airy design. Details on finish & joinery below. ~ This process of preparing & laminating all these blocks is extremely labor intensive, making it difficult to profit from, but it is a labor of love for us. Seeing these reclaimed blocks of beautiful grade-A hardwood get turned into a one-of-a-kind tabletop makes it worth it. The butcher-block patterns created are not only incredibly gorgeous but also rarely seen affordably in table size. Built this way the tabletops are also exceptionally stable - unlike tables made from wider, longer boards that can twist, split & warp more easily with shifts in weather etc. Our tables are handmade one at a time from solid hardwoods that can last a lifetime & given a premium craftsman finish with a natural wood look that's very easy to maintain. ~ Letting the gorgeous natural material speak for itself & using clean lines in our designs makes our furniture look excellent in a wide variety of styles/contexts. The engraved artwork is burnt into the wood making a slight dimensional aspect that catches light & shadow for an inspiring presence & quality. The piece is very easy to clean as the grain of the wood is sealed including the burnt in artwork. It's also very easy to maintain as its a living finish. ~ A living finish means that you can touch up the table as needed through its lifetime for any dings or scuffs. While our finish is a robust decking style finish, some marks in use are inevitable. A simple wipe on application commonly available Howard's Restore a finish can remove scuffs & marks instantly & be used anytime you want to refresh the table. Teak Oil is an alternative wipe-on, easy maintenance care solution as well. A living finish also has an organic, satin look where the wood looks natural & organic - not like its encased in plastic & glossy. ~ The table top & legs are made from solid wood - there's no plywood or fiberboard in our furniture anywhere. There's steel plates already attached to the table for you - so all you need to do is insert in the legs for an easy 60 second assembly. As our table tops are a natural material the grain & color varies, though that patchwork is unique & the inherent beauty of the piece. Our solid wood tapered legs are hand turned on a lathe in our shop one-at-a-time & also made from reclaimed wood that shows beautiful & unique character with natural grain patterns & color. ~ Please Note DHL Courier Delivery does now require a contact phone number to ship - so please enter into the comments section of your order.
