The top, sides, and drawer fronts are made of Sungkai veneer over Meranti, a technique that results in high-quality furniture with beautiful, consistent colour tones. The sturdy construction is complemented by an impressive amount of storage: the piece features two spacious drawers designed for smooth, reliable performance. Each drawer features English-dovetail joinery for superior strength and durability, operating on metal glides that ensure smooth motion, while a sturdy half-moon safety stop keeps the drawer securely in place. The drawers are finished with elegant metal pulls in an antique nickel finish, adding a final touch of traditional detail to the design. Adjustable levellers provide stability on uneven surfaces. About Meranti wood: Meranti wood is a medium to coarse textured wood which ranges in colour with a slightly interlocked grain pattern.
