The gold lining is designed to create a warm, ambient glow when lit. As a metallic-lined shade, light does not permeate through the sides; instead, it reflects from the gold lining and shines from the top and bottom of the shade. Fringing measures 10cm in length, and shade sizes shown do not include the fringing measurement. Handmade to order in the UK, each shade is made using a high quality flame retardant PVC and is fitted with a 39mm European ring fitting with a 29mm UK reducing ring already fitted, allowing use with UK or European lamps, flex and fittings.
