A traditionally handwoven Thai bamboo basket fishing trap, re-purposed into a beautifully minimalistic pendant light. ABOUT A classic example of Asian craftmanship, these fishing traps & holding baskets are handwoven from natural bamboo using techniques that are centuries old. The shape is woven by hand using thick strips of bamboo & nothing else, a clever weave resulting in a beautiful cone shape with a thick bamboo trunk neck We've added a simple yet precise hanging lamp holder that can be adjusted so that you can position your bulb anywhere inside the basket, along with a choice of cabling & lamp to match your style/theme, natural wood & rope or clean white metal & PVC with either a plug or ceiling rose. Listing is for one. Please note that imperfections are the norm for this style of pendant, they are each handmade from natural bamboo & carry marks & natural color as you can see in the pictures for a rustic look. The size comparison picture features multiple where you can see the differences between each. CABLE OPTIONS & LENGTH The cable can be made to any length. If you would like a specific length not in the listing options, simply purchase the closest meter from the listing options & add in the order notes the specific length you require. For example, if you would like a cable length 265cm, purchase the 3m option & add the 265cm request in the order notes. We would then make a cable set that is 265cm long. Length is cable from plug/ceiling plate, to bulb holder SWITCH OPTIONS - Please note - the plug version (not ceiling/hardwired) does not have a switch on the cable as default. The light must be switched on & off at the plug outlet. A switch can be added by request to the black & white cable versions (just send a message to let us know how many cm from the plug you would like the switch positioned, we will also message buyers to ask) but unfortunately a switch is not able to be added to the natural rope style due to it's thickness. The ceiling versions are hardwired & so no cable switch is needed as they use the light switch in your home already.
