I am offering a stylish coffee table, which will be refurbished especially for you over the next three weeks. The coffee table originally served as an industrial rolling pallet. This type of pallet was used before the era of the modern Euro pallet & is no longer used as such today. I refurbished the rolling pallet in several complex steps & turned it into a super stylish industrial coffee table. For this purpose, all metal parts (wheels, feet, etc.) were removed & cleaned of rust & dirt with an electric wire brush. The large carriage bolts, which had completely rusted through, had to be replaced with new ones for stability reasons. The wooden top was then thoroughly brushed & painted three times with a colorless, water-based acrylic varnish. This coat of paint preserved all visible signs of wear & gave the table its satin matt shine. All metal parts were also treated with a satin matt clear varnish, which protects these parts from rust & preserves the signs of wear. All the pieces were then reassembled, allowing the coffee table, with all its original components, to exude its unique charm. Naturally, the coffee table shows many signs of wear & tear due to its long & busy life. Holes, notches, chips, scratches, cracks, rusty nails, etc. are not defects, but rather define the character of the table & make it absolutely unique. The table has a slight slope, as the wheels & feet have a height difference of approximately 1.5 cm. This can easily be compensated for with adhesive felt glides.
