Fused Glass Small Freestanding Wave, Sea Scene With Grass, 6cm Tall. Handmade in Cornwall

It is handmade in my studio in Cornwall & each piece is created using layers of thin coloured bullseye glass with crushed & powdered glass to create the texture & detail. The texture creates a large surface area to allow reflection & sparkle of natural light. The transparent glass allows light to pass through & the slim footprint allows the glass to be displayed on a narrow shelf or windowsill. Candles can also be lit behind the glass to create a lovely ambience. The sand in the image is thin bullseye glass, overlaid with powdered glass & frit to give the impression of ripples in the sand & pebbles. It is 6cm tall & approx 23cm wide. The wave is signed. Each piece of my glass is created without templates or machinery so no two pieces are identical, therefore pieces may differ slightly from photographs.
