Handmade Slim Solid Wood Side Table - Rustic Sofa / End Table A simple solid wood side table made for small UK homes where space is tight but you still need something practical. These narrow tables are handmade in our Yorkshire workshop using solid Scandinavian redwood & work well beside sofas, armchairs & beds. They are especially popular in narrow hallways, terraces, flats & smaller living rooms where a standard side table would stick out too far. The lower shelf is useful for books, remotes, tablets or chargers without taking up extra space. We make each table to order & lightly sand everything by hand to keep the natural grain, knots & character of the wood visible. About The Wood We use solid kiln-dried Scandinavian redwood. Every piece will look slightly different due to the natural grain & knots in the timber. Small cracks, saw marks, splits & colour variation are normal & part of the rustic finish. This is real wood furniture made by hand not MDF or flat-pack furniture. The wax finish helps protect the wood from everyday use & makes it more water resistant, although we still recommend wiping spills quickly.
