To make our pen stands last we use oil based stains that absorb deep into the oak wood so the wood doesn't lose its colour over years of use. To make our metal frames last we use powder coating since it's much more durable than paint & can handle daily abuse. Finally to protect your desk top our pen stands have a custom laser cut cork base that prevents any scratches & keeps our stands in place.
