Shipped directly from our workshop in Lima with all United States import duties & taxes paid by us the price you see is the price at your door, with no paperwork & no charge on delivery. Key Features & Benefits: ALL-INCLUSIVE US PRICE: we cover the import duties & the customs handling on every order to the United States, so nothing is collected from you when the mirror arrives. Painted from behind, not on top the colonial floral motif is laid on the reverse face of each pane & sealed under a sapphire ground, so the colour sits behind the glass & cannot rub, fade or scratch off the surface. Bronze leaf in a warm gold tone applied sheet by sheet over the carved frame & aged with nogalina, so the gold has depth instead of a flat metallic shine. Flame-cut rays each one shaped with hand tools, which is why the silhouette ripples instead of ending in a straight point. Blue against gold is the contrast that carries a dining wall the warm metal reads from the far end of a room & the sapphire panels pull people in close. ???? STYLE & DECOR TIPS: Above a sideboard or a buffet it sits at the right height to be seen while seated, which is where a dining room accent actually earns its place. At 17.7 inches it is an accent, not a centrepiece: hang it alone on a narrow stretch of wall, or group it with two or three frames on a longer one. Sapphire blue sits with warm woods, cream linen & brass. Against a dark green or terracotta wall the gold does the lifting & the blue keeps it from going heavy. ????
