If you need more than four stockings, use fabric & color to make them different. The pattern gives fabric requirements for the full set of four coordinated stockings. Each patchwork design is pieced together first & then quilted with batting to give the stocking a textured farmhouse appearance. Homespun fabric is required for this pattern to achieve the soft ragged fray on the outer edges & the seams. Alternative design options include making the patchwork seams ragged or finished & hanging the stocking with a folded down cuff or as a long tall stocking with no cuff. Stocking with cuff is approximate 16 tall. Without cuff is approximately 20 tall. Full instructions for all options. This pattern is medium level due to the various patchwork designs but is completed very quickly & easily.
