With three open compartments on three sides, the table offers plenty of space for everything you want to keep next to your couch - or even the things you don't really need. Advantages: especially durable high-quality surface the interior wall of the barrel is also colored White barrels White barrels are painted directly at the barrel factory. Small scratches at the 5 mm metal seam at the bottom are typical. These occur during transport & handling in the factory. Occasionally, small scratches or minor dents may appear on the barrel. This is part of the authentic industrial character. We build the furniture in a way that places visible imperfections in less noticeable areas whenever possible. We have been working with these barrels for more than 15 years & carefully select each one. Ring burnished surface This finish is applied by hand in our workshop. Each surface is unique because temperature & humidity influence the effect. Afterwards it is sealed with a clear powder coating. This is the most complex & exclusive surface we offer. Copper The copper option has a textured surface that you can actually feel. It is also powder coated & creates a very distinctive look. Custom color (RAL) Every classic RAL color is possible. Please choose the option Custom Color & leave the RAL code & the edge color (white or black) in the order notes. We will confirm the details with you after your order. CUSTOM REQUESTS We are always happy to create custom variations. Many of our furniture designs originally started as customer requests. MISSION We want to place everyday objects into a new context & create something new from them - well produced & built to last. HAMBURG OIL BARRELS Everything started in 2004 when a neighbor brought us a metal barrel & asked if we could build something from it. From this first cabinet prototype, many different furniture pieces made from oil barrels developed over time. We source our barrels from a barrel factory in the Port of Hamburg that normally produces barrels for oils & fats. Our barrels have never contained any liquids. They come from overproduction, new stock, or B-grade barrels that we transform into unique pieces of furniture.
