I am offering a unique sideboard/TV unit made from reclaimed scaffolding planks, which will be made especially for you over the next four weeks. I will reclaim the scaffolding plank in several complex steps. Gently sanding & brushing the plank brings out an authentic look with all its signs of wear. in the next step, the plank is treated with a colorless acrylic varnish or hard wax oil (acrylic varnish looks quite light, see picture / hard wax oil looks more honey-colored). This treatment seals the wood & makes it suitable for everyday use. This beautiful sideboard impresses with its fantastic, prominent grain, as well as its many beautiful signs of wear such as nail holes, notches, dents, cracks, chipping, & deformation. All of these individual characteristics make the sideboard absolutely unique & one of a kind. You can store your DVD player, console, or receiver in the lower compartment. Important: The pictures show a previously completed sideboard. Yours is always made from scratch, & therefore will always vary slightly in terms of wear, grain, & color, although the size is always the same.
