This dramatic artifact is a rare piece of American History, I uncovered 45 years ago, long before I started creating my signature architectural salvage tin art for home dcor. It was purchased from a Chicago, Illinois antique dealer, who loved high style Art Deco & period antiques as I do. I cleaned, primed & glazed the unusual tin elements about 10 years ago, it has adorned my bedroom walls ever since. This awesome creation, 2D bas relief, is very close to my heart & the colors are so much richer than any pictures I can take of it for my Etsy shop. The unique tile is 48 inches sq. with 3 inches of height. Signed dated titled & carrying my studio seal on the wood frame back. Ready to hang out of its custom shipping crate.
