Consider a special order & a new design that you would like & that suits you best. I usually sketch a card board stencil of the image desired & draw it on the pillow case with a water washable marker so I'm not certain I need to test them. For letters & numbers I sometimes also use ready made commercial stencils of various sizes. The yoyo fabric circles require that I collect small pieces of colorful & detailed fabric swatches. Small weave cotton & cotton blend fabric is the easiest material to fashion those small yoyos into shape. It's important to make sure that the fabric won't shrink after it's made into a yoyo so I may have to wash it beforehand. Slippery fabric such as silk & satins are a bit more difficult to get right but it can be done. It's essential that these small cloth pieces destined to become a yoyo not fade onto the pillow case fabric so they may need to be tested beforehand. I've sometimes added unusual & vintage buttons to the embroidered pillowcases & also small glass beads, ribbon, & yarn. Again, the ribbon & yarn can't fade or excessively shrink after they are sewn on the pillow case. Some of these materials may not be appropriate for a young child's pillow case. About the White pillow cases: the thread count is 250 & they are 60% combed cotton & 40% polyester. They are called Royal Suite & manufactured by Thomaston Mills, USA. I really like the way these pillow cases look, feel, & launder. I tried a number of different types of pillow cases before I settled on this type. I also really enjoy hand embroidering on them which is very important to me. The pillow cases are sturdily made, they won't shrink or fade & are machine washable. They are 20 by 30 in size.
