Welcome! I'm so glad you are here! ????What makes these stockings unique? The cross-stitchable cuffs! The cuffs are made from 14 count cotton Aida in white, (I also have off white BY REQUEST). The cuffs are completely finished with no raw edges, but left open at the bottom so you can do the cross-stitching yourself. SOMETIMES I can accommodate requests to make the cuff edges from the same fabric as the stocking - it depends on how much fabric I have available in the particular print you choose. Let me know if you are interested in matching the cuff edges to the stocking fabric & I will check to see if I have enough fabric. If not, I will plan to make your stocking edges using a solid color of your choice (I have dark red, bright red, dark green, bright green, light green, cream, white, gray, black, navy, royal blue, & aqua). ????Choose your own style/size/shape I offer two styles. The Original was designed by me & the Charles is similar in size & shape to an older style of stockings that are no longer available for purchase elsewhere. I can even make stockings to match the shape & size of your current stockings. Just ask! ????These stockings are quilted & lined All of my stockings are quilted on both sides & fully lined for durability (with no exposed seams). I use only the highest quality fabrics, so your stocking is sure to last a lifetime! What is quilting? Great question! Quilting refers to the decorative stitching you see on the outside of your stocking. It is there to hold together the outer fabric & the batting (this part is on the inside between the outer fabric & the lining fabric - you won't see it). I use cotton batting in my stockings to make them thicker/sturdier & help them hold their shape. The quilting also serves as a decorative element on the outside of your stocking. If you have a specific quilting style in mind, let me know!
