Description

This candle holder was made by me on my wood lathe back in 2016. It has a hand carved ring of basswood to carry it around with. It's one of my first creations, & I am very proud of it. This candlestick features a brass insert called a ferrule for in case someone burns the candle down & forgets about it; the candlestick shouldn't catch on fire. The base is made of oak, I believe, & the top part is maple. This giving a nice contrast. Of course, No candle should ever be burned without attention. It has been finished with linseed oil, shellac, & finishing paste wax. A real one of a kind piece of work. Wood Turned Candlestick
